It's Christmas time and Jay Romero and his stepsister Alicia Williams are spending time flirting while they decorate the tree. They pause from doing anything else when Alicia's mother, Crimson Morning Star, walks in and interrupts them. She pulls Alicia aside and tells her to cut it out because Jay is special. After insisting that Alicia stop the flirting, Crimson suggests that Jay and Alicia make some gingerbread houses. They had just started when Crimson reappeared with Celestina Blooms, the neighbor next door. Celestina is Crimson's insurance policy that Alicia won't get too carried away with her new stepbrother.
